can be commissioned in the areas of client experience and satisfaction,

and competitive intelligence. When done for firms, the research
is proprietary to the firm. Professional associations may contract
for proprietary research as well, or may choose a more economical
option, in which the research is presented first to the association
and its members, and is then, after a negotiated time frame, incorporated
into Cynosure Communications’ general databank for possible
use in articles, seminars, and, if relevant, updates to The
Inside Scoop.

within a company, this service includes internal research and assessment
of stakeholder agendas, facilitation of planning sessions, and preparation

Founding Principal Marcy Steinberg makes a point of participating
as a public observer at selection interviews and judging sessions,
