| Marcy Steinberg has more than 18 years experience
providing strategic planning, facilitation, marketing, public relations,
training, and a variety of writing services to international, national
and regional companies in the architecture, engineering, manufacturing,
finance, health care, real estate, insurance, power and mining industries.
She specializes in business-to-business and business-to-government
marketing and in selling professional services—the “invisible”
and the “intangible”
Marcy is an excellent facilitator, helping firms develop
their goals and strategies for business growth, and the marketing
plans that realize those goals. She is also a journalistic and technical
writer, and maintains a very high win rate with the award, scholarship
and proposal submittals she writes or helps others to write. She
particularly enjoys training others to do the same, and she has
been noted for her incredible patience and effectiveness in this
arena.

Marcy’s research with design service buyers is published in
The Inside Scoop: Proposals and Interviews
from the Client’s Perspective, by the Society for
Marketing Professional Services. She also revised Frank Stasiowski’s
Value Pricing book into the training manual, Getting
Paid What You’re Worth, published by PSMJ in Fall, 2001,
and Starting a New Design Firm, or Risking It All, published
by PSMJ in Winter, 2002 as Out on Your Own. Marcy has more
than 1,000 bylined articles in newspapers, business journals, trade
magazines, and corporate and organizational newsletters. Recent
articles include “Is PowerPoint
Powerless?” PSMJ Best Practices, December 2001 and
“Cold Calls Make You Sweat?”
